Biography

Rosy Thomas is a London based production designer currently working in commercials, television, film and music videos.

In her 18 year career she has collaborated with many extraordinary talents and directors across these mediums such as Edgar Wright, Richard Ayoade, Michael Cumming, Justin Theroux, Dominic Savage, Albert, Tim Kirkby (the award winning "Look Around You"), Becky Martin (for HBO) , Steve Reeves , Nick Jones, Stephen Pipe, Ben Tonge, Jon Drever, James Lees, Owen Trevor, Vaughan Arnell, Jim Weedon and Ric Cantor.

Notable recent works include the award winning "Toast Of London" Series 1-3 ( Bafta, Rose D’Or, RTS).

The "Special Relationship" episode of the HBO series "Veep" (Season 6) filmed in London was also nominated for an Art Directors Guild award in January 2015.

A respected industry figure Rosy has the ability to imaginatively execute any directorial visions. Her broad experience combined with a determination to make the best of any situation allow her to work efficiently and creatively within any given budgets and deadlines. Access to an excellent art department, and strong relationships with suppliers ranging from SFX to construction to prop-making , means that any projects large or small can be tackled quickly and positively.
